We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Assistant to join our team at a secondary SEMH school in Salford.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs, assisting them in managing their behaviour and emotions.
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Implement strategies and interventions to promote positive behaviour and engagement.
* Foster positive relationships with students, helping them build confidence and resilience.
Requirements:
* Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (can be obtained through Teaching Personnel).
* References covering two years of employment history.
* Previous experience working with students with SEMH needs is desirable.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
