Job Description:
We’re recruiting for a Workplace Technology Product Manager to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary, plus car allowance. You will be accountable for the ongoing development, maintenance & continuous improvement of workplace technology products and solutions. Using internal and external insight and working with our business partners and change teams to develop technical roadmaps to ensure delivery of clear outcomes linked to employee experience and our environmental targets.
What you'll be doing:
* You will be responsible for development and maintaining a product roadmap for property and workplace aligned to a strategic architectural vision and in line with company plans and business engagement to ensure delivery outcomes.
* Collaborating with the business and vendors to fully understand our key technology requirements relating to our various product lines, anticipating business need through use of effective communication, deep market knowledge and technical understanding, ensuring all products are fit for purpose and cost effective whilst constantly pushing the technology boundaries in line with our strategy.
* Demonstrating and acting as liaison between Business Product Owner/s and relevant GFCATS and Group technology teams to provide technical vision, direction and support to the teams and associated stakeholders ensuring requirements are understood and IT applications and solutions developed demonstrate value in line with our strategy.
* Engaging and working closely with the various change delivery teams and the business ensuring products and solutions have the appropriate change management plans in place and make prioritisation ensuring essential updates, maintenance, and deliveries.
* Taking ownership and constantly assessing and sharing with stakeholders’ details of change plans, industry best practice and application knowledge aligned to business needs, ensuring visibility of product enhancements to support decision making, in line with our strategy of continuous improvement.
* Acting as a point of contact and be an SME ensuring engagement and buy-in from senior stakeholders on all major decisions and strategy.
* Taking the lead in all matters with regard to the management of employees, ensuring that management discretion is used in a consistent manner and that the area follows the Group’s policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement to maximise business performance.
* Designing and implementing business and system changes follow best business practices and the correct change process and methodology, including the IT Change Management Standard in line with our consumer duty commitments.
Qualifications
Who we're looking for:
* Knowledge of L&G Group Change and Group Technology processes.
* Knowledge of Solution Design and Test phases and governance.
* Knowledge of property and workplace products and solutions.
* Working in regulated industry including FCA, PRA.
* Experience of waterfall and agile delivery paradigms.
* Manage, Coach and develop direct reports.
* Experience of delivering technology solutions within a property environment.
* Experience of working closely with and influencing project sponsors and project teams to deliver the right solutions.
