Our client, a well-established Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm is looking for an experienced Tax Technical Senior Manager to join the team.
The role offers Flexibility as well as Hybrid working.
Tax Technical Senior Manager responsibilities include: -
* Resource Management: Maintain an up-to-date tax library (both online and hard-copy), review new products for efficiency benefits, assist in monitoring resource value and user licenses, and manage timely delivery of corporation tax information including news and court decisions.
* Efficiency Enhancements: Support the implementation and management of an advice note repository system and maintain the tax landing page on the firm’s intranet.
* Training and Development: Collaborate with Learning & Development to suggest tax content, provide focused corporation tax training, identify upskilling needs, and manage requests for external specialist tax courses.
* Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry best practices, review engagement letters, collaborate to update process control sheets, and conduct tax standards reviews with recommended improvements.
Tax Technical Senior Manager requirements include: -
* CTA qualified (or equivalent)
* Currently working at Manager or Senior Manager level in Practice
* Sound working knowledge of all areas of taxation, with high-level expertise in corporate taxes
* Experience of providing/publishing written technical analysis and lecturing/presentation of technical knowledge
