Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Supplement Product Developer to join our dynamic team in Surrey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of new supplement products from concept to market, ensuring they meet industry standards and consumer demands. Key Responsibilities: Product Development: Lead the development of new supplement formulations, including vitamins, minerals, and herbal products, from initial concept through to final product launch. Research & Innovation: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer needs, and competitive analysis to inform product development strategies. Formulation & Testing: Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to create effective and safe formulations. Oversee product testing to ensure quality and efficacy. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with relevant UK and EU regulations, including labeling, health claims, and safety standards. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, quality assurance, and production teams to align product development with business goals and consumer insights. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of product development processes, formulations, and regulatory compliance. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, scientific research, and regulatory changes to drive innovation and improve existing product lines. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certification is a plus. Proven experience in product development within the dietary supplement or food industry. Strong understanding of nutritional science and formulation principles. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for dietary supplements in the UK and EU. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
