An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly created role within the HR Information Systems (HRIS) Team for a HR Systems and Data Insights Manager. The team is responsible for supporting the University’s Agresso (Unit4) HR, ServiceNow, and e-Recruitment systems.
You will be supported by the HR Information Systems Team and will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing the University’s HR systems to ensure operational, strategic, and statutory requirements are efficiently met. In addition to leading on the scheduling, testing, and implementation of any system updates required by the system provider/s, you will also be responsible for proactively identifying opportunities for system improvement and leading on the implementation of approved changes. You will provide excellent technical and operational advice and guidance to all HR systems users, whilst also offering expert knowledge on data management and reporting.
You will lead on the submission of the University’s annual statutory staff returns, including the HESA staff return, and the provision of management information to internal and external agencies on a regular and ad hoc basis. This requires an ability to understand and interpret high-level external business guidance and an awareness of the strategic implications of data submitted within the returns. Support with the design and development of a standard suite of workforce reports, leveraging the reporting functionality across the HR systems. Report progress against agreed HR performance metrics, producing dashboards and trend reports as required.
You will also work collaboratively with other key partners internally who either share the Agresso system platform and information (particularly Payroll and Finance) or who have an interest in staff data/management information outputs.
You will possess excellent IT skills and have experience of working within the education or HR sector with the ability to lead and manage HR process and/or technology projects.
You will also be expected to demonstrate a proactive and professional approach, have the ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be enthusiastic, and able to work independently.
