Safer Communities would like to invite applications for a Control Room Operator. You will work within the security team who provide services for the public, other council services, schools and council buildings. You will be responsible for monitoring CCTV cameras in Knowsley, opening and closing barriers for visitors and dealing with all telephone enquiries. Alarm handling for fire and intruder systems in the borough will also be within the role. Dealing with telephone calls into he control room from the public and service users. Experience of control room operations is required. Full training and uniform will be provided. Successful applicants must successfully pass NPPV level 2 vetting equivalent to joining police standard. The offer of a position will be dependent on the result of that vetting check.
