This is truly a fantastic opportunity for a talented Office Manager to join an innovative and forward-thinking business who are continually developing their business, offering and wider impact.
The role of Office Manager will be the 'go-to' individual in our client's office near Didcot, and act as the subject matter expert for all things related to the running and functioning of the office. Due to the nature of the role, you will be fully office-based Monday to Friday, but with the option to choose your working hour pattern.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver, always thinking outside of the box working efficiently and in a timely manner. You must be able to work well autonomously and as part of a team. Attention to detail is key for this role, and someone who is driven by excellence in everything they do.
Responsibilities of the Office Manager will include but not be limited to:
1. Managing the relationship with the facilities team in the office building.
2. Supporting with the development and design of future offices within the business across the world.
3. Keeping the office space and facilities up to date and functioning including daily tasks of maintaining the kitchen area, ordering stationary, handling incoming post etc.
4. Managing and maintaining strong working relationships with external providers.
5. Organising and hosting regular internal and external events.
6. Reviewing and updating health and safety processes.
7. Acting as the 1st point of contact for guests, meeting and greeting as they arrive to the office.
Your Profile:
8. Strong proven experience working as an Office Manager is essential for this role.
9. Highly organised individual with exceptional time management skills.
10. Good tech knowledge, able to work well with systems, and be on hand for any tech support required by employees of the business.
11. Prior experience, working in a fast-paced environment with varying deadlines.
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £40,000 - £50,000 dependant on experience. Benefits include 25 days holiday (+ bank holidays), 10% discretionary bonus, gym membership discounts, a social team culture and more.
