PSR Are working with a Tier 1 contractor who specialise in Water infrastructure, due to continuous growth my client is looking for a HSQE Advisor to provide support on numerous projects across Severn Trent Water's region.

About the HSQE Role
As an HSQE Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting our site management teams to enhance our Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental (HSQE) performance. Working closely with teams on the ground, you'll provide professional advice, identify risks, and implement practical solutions to create safer, more efficient workplaces. This is a hands-on role where your input will directly shape the ongoing success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities as a HSQE Advisor
1. Collaborate with site management and HSQE teams to enhance Business Management Systems.
2. Provide expert advice to site teams on occupational HSQE matters.
3. Identify key risks and implement measures to manage and mitigate them.
4. Review documentation (including subcontractor documentation) to ensure compliance with HSQE standards.
5. Deliver toolbox talks, safety inductions, and consultation sessions with site staff.
6. Conduct regular site inspections, identify improvement opportunities, and assist teams in implementing changes.
7. Coordinate learning reviews, produce reports, and implement recommendations.
8. Work closely with clients, external stakeholders, and enforcement agencies during audits and inspections.
9. Prepare project-specific HSQE reports to meet contractual requirements.
About You - Essential Skills and Experience as a HSQE Advisor
1. Proven experience in HSQE within the civil construction sector.
2. 3rd level qualification in Health and Safety.
3. Strong understanding of HSQE standards and management systems.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high standard of written English.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant IT tools.
6. Full, clean driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications
1. Membership in IOSH or another relevant professional body.
2. Health & Safety training in key construction-related areas.
3. Qualification in Environmental Management.
4. Instructor qualifications in areas such as Manual Handling, Abrasive Wheels, or Working at Height would be advantageous.
