Job Title: Sales and Marketing Executive
Location: Milton Keynes
Employment Type: Contract (40-hours per week)
Salary/Rate: £500-600 per week dependant on experience
The Opportunity Co works across both emerging and established hospitality businesses, focusing on bringing experienced and proven talent across the key areas of Marketing, Sales, and Operations to support businesses to unlock their opportunities for success.
We seek a passionate Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team on a consultancy basis to work across both The Opportunity Co’s internal business, plus clients within their portfolio.
A successful candidate will thrive off working in a supportive and fast-paced environment that encourages creativity and collaboration, ensuring that we continuously adapt and evolve to meet the needs of our guests.
Role Responsibilities:
1. To support the Founders at delivering outstanding company and client sales performance.
2. To handle inbound calls/emails and make outbound calls/emails.
3. To follow up all enquiries through outbound calls and emails.
4. Ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to firm bookings.
5. To promote and upsell core offerings, special events, packages, and other product offerings to client’s new and existing database of guests.
6. To convert potential sales leads into confirmed bookings with a guest response rate of under 1-2 hours.
7. To maximise on reactive and proactive sales opportunities through excellent relationship building, high customer response time and optimised sales conversion.
8. To provide a consistent and present guest relations service to generate new income streams, repeat business, guest loyalty and increase conversion rate.
9. To contribute and increase sales across each respective revenue stream as dictated to by client’s calendar of events.
10. To deal with any guest complaints effectively and escalate issues to the BDM promptly.
11. To effectively use the booking system and CRM to record all relevant customer data and communications. DMN and Connect CRM experience is ideal.
12. To prepare end of day and end of week reports on activity, pipeline, conversion, admissions/guest covers and revenue to send to clients and Founders.
13. To contribute to and attend weekly company meetings and provide management information and guest feedback data.
14. To be brand aligned and advocate as an ambassador of The Opportunity Co.
15. To drive repeat business and guest loyalty.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Schedule: Flexitime Monday to Saturday (5 days)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Milton Keynes MK9
