Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician looking to join a busy and growing team based in Redhill, Surrey. My client is a long-established IT support company providing a wealth of IT knowledge, hands-on IT support, products, solutions, and high-quality service to meet business needs.
The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to a variety of clients in and along Surrey. Joining this company will allow you to learn new technologies in a relaxed but professional environment. You will be involved in all aspects of support and where you can make a tangible contribution to the business by delivering high levels of service to a mix of internal and external clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling client IT queries via telephone and email remotely
* Updating clients on the progress of their query when first-contact resolution is not possible
* Managing client projects such as data and email migration
* Resolving software issues
* Desktop and laptop fixes
* Troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11, Mac OS
* Managing Active Directory and group policy
* Travelling to client sites when required
Key Requirements:
* Full UK driving license
* Knowledge of Microsoft 365
* Experience with Windows Server & Windows client operating systems
* Experience with Networks (LAN, WAN) Patch management and TCP/IP protocols
* Familiarity with hardware of servers, desktops & laptops
* Knowledge of security systems (Anti-virus, firewalls)
* 2-4 years experience in an IT Support Role
* Outstanding telephone customer service experience
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for Technology.
Working Conditions:
* Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm
