A little about your role…
* Our Finance team is an integral part of the business, achieving best-in-class performance and control through a breadth of specialty Finance Functions. With a finance lens, we help develop, track and communicate progress on an agenda that maximizes long-term shareholder value creation.
* Planning & forecasting aligned to SBU strategy & business plans.
* Using insight to challenge and influence strategic business decisions to improve financial performance of WSP projects and services.
* Identification of risk and opportunities, backed up by analysis of financial and commercial information.
* Ensuring variance between budgets, forecasts and actual results are understood, clearly explained and necessary actions are implemented at appropriate levels of the business.
* Project financial performance review and assurance of income, cost to complete, working capital and change control.
* Line management and development of finance team members.
* Ensuring corporate governance, control and best practice is understood and communicated effectively to the business.
* Wider duties will include deputising in senior management meetings, bid support, financial and strategic integration, and project team working.
What we will be looking for you to demonstrate…
* Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or significantly progressed with studies.
* Advanced experience of finance business partnering.
* Experience of team leadership.
* Worked at Senior Finance Manager level or at Finance Manager level having consistently demonstrated delivery above expectation.
* Experienced in functional or small team leadership.
