Mechanical Engineer – Data Centre
Location: West London
We are seeking a Shift Technician to maintain critical building systems in a high-performance data centre. You will be responsible for PPM, reactive maintenance, and fault diagnosis on electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, generators, HV, PDU’s, and CRAC units.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical & mechanical systems
* Ensure environmental conditions are maintained at all times
* Respond to faults and defects promptly
* Supervise sub-contractors and ensure compliance with safety protocols
* Maintain accurate shift logs and documentation
Requirements:
* City & Guilds qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration Building Services
* HV Authorised Person qualification (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience in data centres or other critical environments
* Strong knowledge of BMS, generators, UPS, HVAC, and electrical systems
