We're looking for an Associate Art Director (Brand Design) to join our team in London as part of our Design function. Your Role: You will be key in delivering visually compelling, on-brand campaigns and assets from initial concept to final execution. You will be a highly creative leader with strong operational skills who can manage both internal and external teams, including designers, agencies, and stakeholders while ensuring the highest standards of visual excellence. Key Responsibilities Project Management and Execution: Led the complete lifecycle of creative projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and high visual standards. Efficiently manage timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure project success. Team Leadership and Development: Provide clear direction and leadership to team members, driving the conceptual and creative process. Mentor and support team members with constructive feedback and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within the marketing and creative teams. Stakeholder Communication: Proactively communicate project updates and progress to key stakeholders, including Senior Leadership. Plan ahead to anticipate and address complex creative challenges, ensuring smooth project delivery. Act as a liaison between Creative, Marketing, Content, and Product teams, as well as external suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration. Creative Strategy and Innovation: Contribute to the development of creative strategies that align with product goals and market trends. Regularly audit creative output to maintain brand consistency and accessibility. Continuously update brand guidelines to reflect business changes and evolving digital trends. Develop distinctive new visual identities for upcoming projects that adhere to master brand guidelines. Champion innovation and fresh approaches to keep the brand’s creative output relevant and competitive with a digital-first, accessibility-driven mindset. Art Direction, Quality Control, and Brand Consistency: Ensure all creative outputs meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to best practices. Oversee and approve final designs, ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines across all platforms. Provide hands-on art direction, guiding designers and artists through the execution of visual elements. Lead workshops and onboard new team members with Figma training and best practices. Produce visuals for subscription-based products, including platform assets, marketing websites, emails, social media promotions, content reports, events, and presentations. Ensure responsive and consistent design across different platforms (e.g., desktop, mobile, social media). Develop design concepts that resonate with diverse target markets Your Experience Strong conceptual design thinking with a keen eye for brand consistency across multiple touchpoints. Versatility in creative execution, with an understanding of desktop and mobile best practices, marketing design trends, and social media visuals. Proven experience collaborating within a broader creative team, ideally across different departments and divisions. Experience mentoring and providing peer-to-peer feedback to junior designers on day-to-day tasks. Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn new skills and tools. Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools, including knowledge of AI-generated images. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude toward receiving and incorporating feedback. A deep interest in staying up to date with industry trends and design techniques.
