ROLE OVERVIEW
The Healthcare & Education Division of OCS Group has an exciting opportunity become available at one of its prestigious (Multi Site) contracts in East London, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire region. The role is responsible for leading a team of employees to provide an integrated Soft FM service to a NHS Mental Health contract located in the East London, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire region across 74 sites; managing all operational teams employed to ensure efficient and effective soft FM multi service delivery, delivering services provisions in line with agreed budgets and service specifications; monitoring and reporting on the quality of service and financial performance of the contract, to include service reporting, KPI management and record keeping.
Social Value and driving of a core social agenda are key to this role and a pivotal consideration of everything we do.
This high-profile NHS status contract has a revenue c£13m. Covering the following services: Cleaning, Patient Catering, Retail Catering, Pest Control, Grounds and Gardens, Linen and Laundry, Portering, Pharmacy Courier, Security, Feminine Hygiene, Window Cleaning, Vending, within NHS Mental healthcare services. Additionally, it’s the operational lead in a business-critical distribution patient feeding hub supporting this and one other OCS contract.
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and implement operational procedures for the company.
2. Provide strategic and tactical support to all sites within assigned portfolio of work.
3. Ensure ISO compliance on-sites in the managed portfolio.
4. Oversee the management of all services provided by both OCS staff, sub-contractors and the OCS site-based management teams to ensure compliance with the service level agreements and budgetary considerations.
5. Develop and maintain relationships with client/end user decision makers.
6. Ensure professional quality of service delivery and compliance with legislative requirements.
7. Assist in the development of proposals including client liaison, input into design and developing of service delivery proposals and business growth.
8. Set and oversee the budgets for each site within your managed portfolio.
9. Project management of new initiatives from inception to successful completion.
10. Provide monthly reports and management information in line with client requirements.
11. Drive forward both service accreditations, social value and environmental agendas.
12. Ensure compliance with all aspects of the contracts, and responsible for all aspects of health and safety on site.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
13. Strong numeracy and literacy skills
14. Operational knowledge of multiline budgets and P&L accounts.
15. Excellent interpersonal skills (communication, presentation, persuasion and motivation)
16. Proven experience of managing outsourced commercial Soft FM services.
17. Knowledge of Social Value measurements tools (Beneficial but not essential) TOM Themes - Outcome - Measures.
18. Excellent organisational skills

20. Knowledge of NHS 2021 Cleaning standards
21. Food Safety Level 3 (Level 4 Desired)
22. Computer literate – Microsoft packages including Excel, Power BI and the use of people management software
