Monarch is currently working with a Primary school who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities: - Support a small group of 3-4 children in our dedicated hub during the morning sessions, fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment. - Assist with the planning and delivery of tailored educational programs to meet individual learning needs. - Conduct intervention groups in the afternoons, focusing on specific skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social communication. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our students. - Monitor and record progress, adapting approaches as necessary to support each child's development. Qualifications and Skills: - Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred. - A caring and patient demeanour, with excellent communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build strong relationships with students. - Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
