Mechanical Field Service Engineer
Package: up to £45k
Type: Permanent
Our client is a Yorkshire based manufacturer of fan and smoke extraction systems, ranging from car park ventilation systems to smoke control and tunnel ventilation.
With a nationwide reputation, they have a service division that performs PPM around the UK for their own systems as well as their competitors' systems.
Due to continued growth and expansion, they require a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join their team.
The Role
As the Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be required to travel around the UK and visit customers, which will be planned, and you may be away a few nights a month.
This is a great role for a mechanical fitter who has experience in air movement, air conditioning, bearings, belts, or motors. Experience in fan balancing will be an added advantage.
You will spend much of your time at the head office, working alongside other areas of the design and manufacturing teams, dealing with both internal and external customers. For this customer service aspect of the role, you will need to communicate effectively at all levels.
You will have experience or be trained as a mechanical fitter and possess a flexible approach to work.
If you have experience with fan extraction or smoke extraction, it's a bonus, but you will be trained for several months on their bespoke equipment.
What will you get?
The right candidate will be rewarded with a salary of up to £37k when fully trained. You will also receive a vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, and a corporate credit card for expenses.
Additionally, you will have an overnight allowance of £50, as well as many other benefits such as a bonus scheme, pension contributions, and flexible working arrangements. A fully funded vehicle with personal use will also be provided.
For more detailed information, please apply, and if you have the required skills, we'll discuss the role in detail.
