You will work directly with the Ombudsman, Chief Executive and Board to coordinate and support a range of governance meetings and ensure LGSCO complies with its statutory role and responsibilities as a public body. Job Description Reporting to the Head of Policy and Communications, you will support the Ombudsman, in their role as Ombudsman and Chair of the Commission, to discharge their function and ensure the Commission complies with its statutory role and obligations as a public body. Person specification While you may have local government, ombudsman or public sector experience, it is your proven ability to ensure effective governance in a corporate setting that is key. You will be a team player with excellent planning and influencing skills and a track record of working with the most senior people in an organisation.
