We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Accounts Assistant to support our Finance Team, based at our office in Didcot, Oxfordshire. We operate a hybrid working model: three days from the office, the remainder of the week from home. We are looking for an agile and proactive Accounts Assistant with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial spirit who can help us nurture this company culture. Reporting directly to the Treasury Manager the Accounts Assistant is responsible for monitoring, delivering and improving Treasury and AR processes. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES · Daily and weekly cash reporting · Support Treasury Manager in cashflow forecasting · Perform daily matching in the cashbook · Prepare month end cash and bank reconciliations · Assist in the management of Direct Debits · Assist in managing company credit cards, including the register of cardholders, management of credit limits, processing of credit card expenses in Concur and preparation and posting of accruals · Manage customer refunds and related ledger postings · Manage Accounts Receivable ledger · Prepare aged debtors analysis · Raise invoices and customer statements · Prepare month end AR reconciliations · Look to continuously improve and automate Treasury and AR processes · Support Treasury Manager on adhoc projects, including system implementations ABOUT YOU · Experience working in a fast-paced growth environment · Solid bookkeeping experience · Excellent communication skills · Experienced user of Microsoft Excel and a variety of accounting packages · Good attention to detail and willingness to implement new controls as required · Curious and able to challenge the status quo when appropriate · A creative, problem-solving spirit · Passion for the OKA brand OUR BENEFITS PACKAGE · 33 days holiday (including bank holiday entitlement), plus Length of Service increases · Day off for your birthday · Health Cash Plan · Generous staff discount · Enhanced Maternity Pay · Employee Assistance Programme · Eligibility for a discretionary company Bonus Scheme · Discounts on 60 UK retailers via My OKA benefits platform · Plus a suite of additional employee benefits including Company pension scheme, life assurance cover, free eye tests, cycle to work scheme, interest free travel loans, social events, online wellbeing centre and more.
