We are looking for a proactive and experienced Night Shift Engineering Supervisor to lead and oversee our night shift engineering team which consists of Lift Engineers and Escalator Engineers. You will play a key role in driving performance to meet the Branch Business Action Plan objectives for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), call-out response times, first-time fix rates, and margin contribution. You ll ensure adherence to company values and goals, with a strong emphasis on safety, customer satisfaction, team development, and continuous improvement. This job will be field based, working a Four on four off pattern - 19:00 - 07:00 Job Responsibilities: Efficiently plan Lift and Escalator Engineer workloads Assist with absence, performance, and appraisals for the team. Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures. Conduct risk assessments and method statements Carry out regular site monitoring Balance your time between engineering activities and supervising the night shift team members Maintain relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints Job Requirements: Previous experience working within the lift and escalator industry Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent This supervisor job would be suitable for someone who has previously worked as a Team Leader, Lift Service Manager, Lift Repair Manager, Lift Service Supervisor or similar.
