Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team around SO51 5AD. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position requires a proactive individual who can work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating empathy and respect towards patients.
Responsibilities
1. Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
2. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
3. Support patients during meals, ensuring they receive adequate nutrition and hydration.
4. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by adhering to health and safety protocols.
5. Assist with administrative tasks such as maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
Qualifications
1. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
3. A caring attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
4. Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
5. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the healthcare facility.
