We are set in the developing inner-city community of Harehills, we're lucky enough to serve the children that make Leeds a diverse metropolis of language and culture, with over 40 languages spoken, 730 NOR and a staff team of 100. In response to the social issues facing many of our children and families, we have developed a Pupil Support approach which is continually evolving and is responsive to the challenges children in 2025 are facing.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Pupil Support Worker to join our team and support our children so that they can excel.

Day to day you will:
1. Work within a supportive team, led by an Assistant Principal for Personal Development and Behaviour and Attitudes.
2. Deliver behaviour interventions and support plans.
3. Support the challenge and motivation of pupils, promoting and reinforcing Hovingham’s behaviour approach – The Hovingham Way.
4. Provide structured activities and lunchtime support as an alternative provision.
5. Work with individuals and groups both within and outside the classroom setting, as part of Hovingham’s tiered approach.
After your first year with us, success would look like:
1. Created a behaviour and attitudes culture which is nurturing.
2. Widened Personal Development opportunities for all children at Hovingham.
3. Improved your subject knowledge and skills in delivering our SEMH curriculum.
