Digital Platforms Manager – Fixed term contract until 30th December 2025
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Drive DTC & Owned Websites
- Drive DTC & Owned Websites as a hub of excellence for 1p Acquisition, Content & Services, along with the support of the Assistant Digital Platforms Manager
- Work extremely closely with the DTC Commercial Lead to drive a 360 best-in-class DTC Strategy
- Ownership of the DTC Brand x CDO Collab Meetings, ensuring coordination, communication and consistency across teams & brands. Working closely with the CDO Content team to maximise trend & advocacy content opportunities on owned platforms.
- Act as Technical SEO lead, working closely with the Paid SEO lead
- Be responsible for overall management of the DEC Europe team relationship for both DTC & CRM
- Line Management of the Assistant Digital Platforms
- Manager, and support them in managing &
- prioritising all DEC tickets including DTC promotions and on-site activations
- Using available analytics tools to create and maintain reports, and regularly sharing with senior stakeholders across Zone, Global & External Agency partners
- Driving optimisations, opportunities for scale, & troubleshooting issues on DTC&Owned Websites.
- Working closely with the DEC Europe Hub to ensure websites are legally compliant, meet brand guidelines, launch products, services & features on time and in-full. Owning testing roadmap, proposing areas to test to improve performance metrics & consumer experience
- Work with Supply Chain/Operations team to define and improve processes for discontinued products, product and sample setup requirements and Customer Care related projects such as Returns, resulting in a strong NPS Score
Best-in-class CRM Strategy
- Supporting the Senior DTC, CRM & Services Manager in developing a best-in-class CRM strategy to drive acquisition, retention and loyalty.
- Implement and manage a strategy for Owned 1P Acquisition (delivering 50% of total 1P Acquisition target) optimising opportunities for test & learn and with a focus on rich data
- Work with Ecomm Activation team to maximise Retailer CRM Opportunities & develop a testing roadmap for 2P Activation through CRM
- Support in driving forward new CRM strategies including WhatsApp, SMS & Push Notifications
Lead on DSF Services including first-ever Coaching App for LDB
- The main point of contact for the UK perspective of the design, build, and activation of Spotscan+ Coach in the UK.
- Participate in weekly project calls, providing updates and coordinating activities across teams.
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across Zone, Global, and external agency partners.
- Onboard new third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with L'Oréal rules and regulations.
- Coordinate the UK launch of Spotscan+ Coach across all CDO channels, including media, advocacy, email, and more.
- Support Assistant Digital Platforms Manager in owning + driving the DSF & Local Services Roadmap
- Ensure LDB Services are #1 channel for driving rich data acquisition + activation.
WHO YOU ARE
- Experienced in Digital Marketing (preferably DTC experience)
- Proven organisational and project management skills, together with the ability to priorities and adapt within a changing environment
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to see how their role supports the wider business objectives
- Creative thinker with a track record in defining and delivering solutions to business problems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to get to the heart of complex problems
- Passionate about digital innovation
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages (Google Analytics experience desirable)
- Strong presentation skills
- Highly personable with the ability to engage and influence multiple business stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and ecommerce understanding.
- Strategic and problem-solving thinker with an obsession with data analytics, ability to work flexibly, and take ownership for resolutions.
- Demonstrate an ability to manage projects, adjust priorities, and follow up on actions.
- Line Management experience preferable
