Team Leader
Pay rate: £16.80
Shift Pattern: 8:30am - 16:30pm
Requirements: Must have Team Leader experience in the health care sector along with Mental health, Learning disability and Autism experience. Must have a full UK driver's license.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis; you must currently be based in/around the Exeter area and able to commute.
We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in Fordingbridge. This individual has Autism and a great sense of humour. They are very active and like to go out and about with their dog and into the community.

Key Responsibilities
1. Support Workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping.
2. Support with all facets of daily living.
3. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
4. Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times.
5. Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members.
6. Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
7. Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided.
8. Aid with light household chores which may include cooking and cleaning.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Team leader experience within the health care sector.
2. Autism experience.
3. Learning disability experience.
4. Mental health experience.
5. Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care.
6. Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
7. Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support.
8. Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs.
9. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
10. Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required.
