What you will do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' occupational needs and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement effective treatment plans.
- Empower service users by setting realistic goals and promoting their independence.
- Manage a defined caseload from acute wards, ensuring accurate record-keeping and progress evaluations.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff and contribute to service delivery improvement.
Requirements for the role:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist is essential.
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Prior experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the UK is required.
- Demonstrable experience in a variety of mental health settings, including acute care.
- Proven ability to manage a defined caseload effectively.
