To work as part of the radiography team as a qualified radiographer to perform a range of radiographic imaging procedures, within the department, on the wards in theatre.
To work within the boundaries of existing competence, adhering to the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposures) Regulations 2017 at all times as well as local procedures and protocols relating to radiation procedures, staff and patient safety.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Radiology Team as a Diagnostic Radiographer. Ensure high quality patient care maintaining patient flow and supporting the day to day running of the department whilst maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
To undertake their duties and contribute to the holistic care of patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team and be responsible for delivering effective, specialised, high quality care and carrying out specific clinical tasks, ensuring the area of work runs smoothly and efficiently. To have excellent communication skills that foster good working relationships both within and external to the department.
Ability to participate in 24 hour working patterns is essential as the department operates a full out of hours shift system.
Working Pattern: Permanent Contract - Full time, to be worked between 8:00am - 8:00pm seven days a week, being able to participate in the out of hours rota is essential.
