Systems Administrator
Role Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Systems Administrator to join our growing IT team. This role is perfect for an experienced 2nd Line Support Engineer ready to step up, or an early-career 3rd Line professional. You’ll play a key role in implementing and maintaining our infrastructure while contributing to API, web integration projects, and ongoing system improvements with our 3rd party customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain and support web applications and API integrations.
2. Support EDI systems and third-party application integrations.
3. Troubleshoot application and integration issues across platforms.
4. Administer and manage Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and Azure AD.
5. Provide support for cloud solutions and SaaS applications.
6. Assist with network configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting (WAN, LAN, TCP/IP).
7. Support virtual and physical server environments.
8. Contribute to Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) support.
9. Configure and support laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
10. Manage hardware imaging and deployment (PXE boot, bootable media).
11. Contribute to internal IT projects and system upgrades.
12. Provide technical input to improve integrations and workflows.
13. Analyse customer technical needs and propose effective solutions.
Technical Requirements
1. 5+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
2. Hands-on experience with:
1. API troubleshooting and integration.
2. Network configuration and support.
3. Windows OS deployment and support.
4. Microsoft 365 and Azure administration.
5. Remote support tools and endpoint security software.
6. Hardware imaging and deployment processes.
3. Strong understanding of:
1. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues independently and effectively.
2. 3+ years in infrastructure, network support, or software integration environments.
3. Experience with physical infrastructure: cabling, networking hardware, servers.
4. Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
5. Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
6. High level of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness.
7. Ability to translate technical requirements into practical solutions.
8. Passionate about continuous improvement and delivering excellent IT service.
