We are looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Director of Finance and Procurement — a pivotal leadership position responsible for ensuring we maintain our strong financial position and remain resilient in the challenges that lie ahead, and drive efficiency and productivity across the organisation. As part of our leadership team, you will shape financial strategy, strengthen governance, and lead transformation, as well as deliver improvement plans, manage change, and provide expert guidance on good financial management. Working strategically across partnerships and council services, you will help us navigate financial complexities while supporting and developing our finance professionals. We are seeking a leader with experience across local government financial leadership at a strategic level, managing change, and team development. You will have a proven ability to lead transformation while handling challenges with integrity and empathy. A track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent is essential, along with excellent communication skills to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
