Role overview
As the Bodyshop VDA, your role is to estimate customer retail vehicles and convert them into bookings to achieve key targets, profitability, and deliver customer satisfaction while striving for continuous improvements.
Key responsibilities
Your key responsibilities as a Bodyshop Estimator will be:
1. To work with our team to manage the throughput of work in line with the skills and behaviours associated with the Citygate Experience and Brand Values.
2. Managing the day-to-day operations of the Bodyshop reception to ensure the achievement of key targets (e.g., vehicle stock loading, cycle time, right-first-time estimates).
3. Carry out full bodywork appraisals ensuring excellent attention to detail for each vehicle.
4. To accurately load estimates for incoming vehicle stock onto our database and carry out job costing using our internal matrix.
5. Submit damage claims for wholesale vehicles and those damaged upon delivery.
6. Manage our database throughout the process ensuring timely authorisation and completion of work.
7. Continuously reviewing and improving processes and systems to deliver increased levels of customer satisfaction whilst maximising cost savings and quality of workmanship.
8. Working with colleagues across Citygate to investigate and resolve complaints.
9. Providing advice and sign-off on key issues.
10. Oversee paint warranty claims processing, ensuring manufacturer's requirements are strictly adhered to.
11. To plan and manage resource requirements.
About You
As a Bodyshop Estimator, you will ideally have the following skills and attributes:
1. Experience as a VDA / Vehicle Estimator.
2. Ability to work to deadlines.
3. Strong teamworking skills.
4. Strong organisational ability.

Pay: £35,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
