Team: Management of 3 part qualified accountants.
Salary: £50,000-60,000 per annum (depending on experience) + up to 30% bonus per annum
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring accurate monthly variance analysis. Take full ownership of the central P&Ls, including posting month-end journals and reconciling related balance sheet accounts.
* Support the balance sheet review process by assisting the management accounts team with query resolution, reviewing the accuracy of accruals and prepayments, and challenging assumptions with relevant stakeholders.
* Conduct bank reconciliations for all group accounts, including revenue reconciliation.
* Work closely with EPOS Manager on site discrepancies via till floats.
* Manage account set up and settlements for venues with the estate including Albert Hall.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 part-qualified management accountants.
* Manage the annual financial audit process, including interim and final audits/tax pack preparation and posting of statutory adjustments.
* Prepare and submit Group VAT returns and single company VAT Returns to HMRC in a timely manner and correspond with HMRC on additional queries.
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets/new site budgets and quarterly reforecasts.
* Work closely with the payroll administrator on accurately reporting on payroll costs ensuring accuracy on payroll accruals.
* Assist with Ad hoc projects across the finance function including system integrations and commercial finance reviews.
* Deliver monthly "Introduction to Finance" training sessions to site managers across the business to improve financial literacy.
* Support and deliver training for the Ops team across Rudys and Bars.
Ideal Candidate:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 2-3 years of post-qualification experience.
* Experience in the hospitality or retail industry.
* Strong background in financial reporting or management accounting.
* In-depth technical knowledge of FRS102.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
* Experience of Sage 200 desirable but not essential.
