Pre-Construction Manager Vacancy!
Reporting into the Director, this role will primarily be tasked to lead on tender bids on the South West Water Framework, taking responsibility for the projects from inception to contract award.

Typically, projects will consist of waste water schemes, up and around the £5m – £10m mark.
Overview of Duties
Reporting into the Framework Manager, you will join the business at an exciting time as they build the delivery team in these early stages. Duties will include:
1. Liaising with the Estimating Team to ensure timeframes are achieved for the technical and commercial elements of bids.
2. Taking the lead on tenders with the SWW representatives.
3. Leading in tender bid settlements.
4. Working within a small pre-construction team.
5. Liaising with design managers or leading the pre-construction design process depending on the project size and complexity.
6. Liaising with other teams – Managing Estimator & Estimating team, Construction delivery teams, Design Managers, Planning Manager.
7. Leading bids and taking responsibility for client liaison during the bid, technical bid submissions, and leading bid settlement meetings with the appropriate director.
What we will need from you
As well as at least 5 years in a Pre-Construction or Bid role, it would be great if you also had the following:
1. Experience working for a Major Contractor and/or Framework experience.
2. BSc Hons in a construction-related subject (Desirable).
3. Personable with excellent communication skills.
4. Able to think quickly on their feet and adapt to situations.
