A respected Church of England School in Richmond is seeking a dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (French) Teacher to join our Languages department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire a love of French language and culture within our school community. About Our Learning Community: Our Church of England school values linguistic proficiency and cultural understanding. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging French lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level. Develop and implement lesson plans covering French grammar, vocabulary, and cultural studies. Facilitate student-led conversations and cultural projects. Assess student progress through speaking, listening, reading, and writing tasks. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the French curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as French clubs and cultural events. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in French or Modern Foreign Languages. Extensive experience teaching French at the secondary level, preferably in a faith school setting. Native or near-native fluency in French. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
