Occasional Internal Quality Assurance – Prison Education – HMP Bullingdon Location: HMP Bullingdon, Bicester, OX25 1PZ Hours: Variable / Ad-hoc Salary: £28.50 per hour Reporting To: Education/Regional Manager IN SHORT Are you a qualified assessor and/ or Internal Quality Assurance professional? Do you have experience completing quality assurance for a range of subjects? HMP Bullingdon education department are looking for an experienced IQA to carry Quality Assurance across a range of accredited courses for a diverse group of learners within the prison and across the region. As an ad hoc IQA within our Milton Keynes College Prison Education team you will help to develop a strong learning programme that meets the needs of the learners, prison and Milton Keynes College. The subjects that you will IQA will be varied and across a variety of levels including Mentoring, Business, Hospitality, Barbering and Functional Skills. The ability to offer more than one subject for IQA would be an advantage. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated IQA to support high learner success, through the Quality Assurance process. This vacancy would suit a highly motivated IQA, with a can-do approach to education. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing our learners with a high standard of education, who can thrive upon working within a challenging yet rewarding environment, who can offer skills & knowledge to our learners and guide them throughout their courses. This role will take place across a number of prisons in the South-Central region. The role will involve IQA across the region where required and engaging with awarding bodies when EQA visits take place.
