Job Description
Embedded Software Test Engineer- with remote working.
We are working with a global medical technology company that has developed life-changing devices featuring a compact design, intuitive GUI, and proven clinical results.
They offer a supportive environment for skill development and career growth. The team work remotely and meets two or three days per month, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered. You can also go into the office more if desired.
In this role, you will ensure reliable, fully tested software for cutting-edge medical devices, focusing on real-time programming and embedded systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create documentation in line with standards and internal processes.
* Develop, test, and implement software across the full life-cycle.
* Execute automated builds, unit tests, and troubleshoot issues.
* Collaborate on issue resolution and prioritization.
Relevant Experience:
* Experience with safety-critical systems and software testing.
* Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) and real-time programming.
* Proficiency in C (C++, Python beneficial).
Desirable:
* Knowledge of IEC 62304 standards and requirement management tools.
* Familiarity with issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and UML.
Salary guide: Up to £45,000 + benefits
