The ideal candidate will have a background in packaging with an overall commercial leadership and responsibility for the region, driving and delivering profitable and sustainable growth in sales.
Job responsibilities:
* Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at achieving sustainable revenue growth, identifying new business opportunities and the resources needed to achieve it.
* Provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to the sales team, ensuring alignment with Group objectives and driving the achievement of annual sales and strategic goals.
* Be a model sales expert and leader, actively engaging in critical sales activities as needed, including participating in key customer meetings, conducting impactful product demonstrations, and facilitating complex sales negotiations.
* Foster strong collaboration and synergies with cross-functional teams, including Market Development and Operations to align sales efforts seamlessly with broader company objectives and initiatives.
* Monitor key performance metrics, tracking progress against targets and making necessary adjustments to optimize performance and drive continuous improvement.
* Act as an ambassador for the business at industry events and key client meetings, conveying our unique value proposition, fostering strong brand awareness, and building strategic relationships.
Profile required:
* University degree
* Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrated success in leading high-performing sales teams.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key stakeholders.
* Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive sales strategies and decision-making.
