Paying up to £65K as a FTC or £250-350 Daily rate basis, with hybrid and flexible working, this North West-based Housing Association is recruiting for a Finance Manager to support their business operations to cover a vacancy as they approach year-end.
THE ROLE
Managing a small team, the Finance Manager's key focus is on delivering timely and accurate monthly management information to relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Ensure the Management Accounts are delivered accurately and on time
2. Oversee the production of accurate and timely MI to stakeholders
3. Business Partner non-financial managers to enable better budgetary control, and the KPIs understanding
4. Lead and oversee the delivery of effective Business Partnering within the team to support various areas of the business
5. Budget setting, monitoring, and reporting
6. Ensuring adequate financial controls are in place and continually reviewed and improved
7. Support on the year-end accounts
THE PERSON
* You will be an experienced accountant with current or previous Social Housing experience
* You will be a strong team manager, an experienced leader
* You will have experience in budget setting and monitoring, and have a business partner approach to stakeholders
* Strong Excel skills and a working knowledge of integrated accounting systems
