Job Description
* Purchase ledger and Sales ledger responsibilities
* Forecast revenue and expenses
* Report on financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed
* Collaborate with the accounting team to prepare budget reports
* Ensure all financial operations comply with governmental rules and regulations
* Help with tax audits and tax returns
* Support the Accounting & Finance department by completing administrative tasks as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
* Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with accounting software
* Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
* Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
