You'll have the opportunity to teach students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5, covering areas such as food preparation, nutrition, and food science. As a Food Technology Teacher, you will inspire students to develop a love for food, cooking, and nutrition, while teaching them the skills necessary to succeed in both practical and theoretical aspects of food technology. Food Technology Teacher Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 Differentiate lessons to meet the individual needs of all students Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback Create and maintain a positive learning environment Contribute to curriculum development and planning Encourage participation in extracurricular activities such as cooking competitions and events What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Passion for food technology and a strong understanding of food science Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities Excellent organisational and communication skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Previous experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level Why Choose Us?
