Job Description
Technical Writer - £350 a day - Hybrid - Nottingham
The Technical Writer will be a member of the Digital Workplace team, dedicated to creating, maintaining, and enhancing knowledge assets including runbooks and process improvements.
The Technical Writer plays a crucial role in managing and optimizing knowledge to improve service delivery and customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
2. Analyse and categorize knowledge assets to ensure accuracy, relevance, and quality.
3. Utilise knowledge management tools and technologies, such as ServiceNow and Confluence, to effectively capture and maintain Knowledge Articles.
4. Analyse data, and identify trends or patterns that drive continuous improvement.
5. Support transformation by creating regional alignment and global standards, along with best practices processes.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Technical Writer (ideally within Service desk or IT support).
2. Knowledge of management principles and best practices.
3. Proficiency in technologies, such as ServiceNow and Confluence.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
