Imagine stepping into a role where you have the chance to shape processes from the ground up. EAV, a leader in the clean energy sector, is expanding, and we're looking for a Service Engineer who can help us build a best-in-class service network for our innovative cargo bikes. With 300 bikes already in the field and big plans to scale, this is your chance to leave a lasting impact on a company committed to sustainable urban transport. A New Challenge: This is a brand-new position, created to support our rapid growth. You'll be at the forefront of designing service manuals, building warranty systems, and creating training programs that will empower a network of service agents across the UK—and potentially, Europe. Career Growth: We’re not just hiring for now; we’re building the future. With plans to expand this team, you’ll have the opportunity to grow, and even travel across Europe to help establish service centers in the future. Training and Development: We believe in supporting our team. You’ll have access to a training budget to enhance your skills—whether that’s learning to build dashboards, mastering new software, or project management. We’ll review your progress yearly to ensure you’re developing in the direction you want. Make an Impact: Work alongside the hiring manager and other key stakeholders to create systems and processes that will be the blueprint for how we manage and service our fleet. Your expertise will directly influence the quality and efficiency of our services. What You'll Do Day-to-Day: Develop and implement service manuals and fault-finding processes for our cargo bikes, ensuring that every detail is covered. Provide technical support to customers and third-party service agents, guiding them through repairs and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Manage and streamline our warranty system, using third-party software to track claims and analyze trends. Host hands-on training sessions, ensuring service agents are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to maintain our bikes. Visit sites across the UK to audit repairs and support service partners, ensuring quality and consistency in our service network. Who We're Looking For: Mechanical Know-How: You’re comfortable with the tools and have a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical fault diagnostics. Process-Oriented: You have experience writing service manuals and developing processes, and you know what “good” looks like. Problem-Solver: You don’t shy away from a challenge. Whether it’s a tricky repair or a gap in our service network, you’re always looking for a solution. Collaborator: You’ll work closely with our team, including Colin, to refine processes, share feedback, and build a service culture that puts quality first. Why EAV? At EAV, we're passionate about building a greener future, and we want you to share that passion with us. We’re not just about the bikes—we’re about the people behind them. We pride ourselves on creating an environment where our employees enjoy their work and have the support they need to excel. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow with a company that values innovation, collaboration, and sustainable progress. Ready to Take the Next Step?
