My client, a leading and award-winning property management company with portfolios all over England, Scotland and Wales, are on the lookout for a motivated Service Charge Accountant to join their growing service charge team.
Duties:
1. Support the senior team with budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with regulations.
2. Assist in preparing and maintaining service charge cost estimates.
3. Manage a portfolio of service charge accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance.
4. Prepare and review financial statements for homeowners.
5. Deliver to department metrics & support wider team.
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of accounting principles.
2. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; accounting software knowledge is a plus.
4. Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Strong organisational and time management skills.
7. A relevant accounting qualification (e.g. AAT) is a plus but not required.
Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH, free parking onsite.
