Main duties of the job
* Clinical & Managerial Support: You’ll work closely with the Team Leader, providing essential clinical and managerial support to ensure smooth and effective theatre operations.
* Leadership & Teaching: As a senior practitioner, you will lead by example, offering clinical leadership, guidance, and teaching to all relevant staff within your specialist area.
* Specialist Advice: You’ll provide expert technical and clinical advice to colleagues within the peri-operative environment, helping to enhance the quality of care provided.
* Patient Support: You’ll play a crucial role in supporting and informing patients undergoing anaesthesia and surgery, ensuring their experience is as comfortable and safe as possible.
* Quality Care Development: You will assist in the development of safe, high-quality specialist care, adhering to the Trust’s Nursing & Midwifery guidelines, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.

* To provide clinical & managerial support to the Team Leader.

* Demonstrates post-Qualification theatre experience
* Teaching and Assessing Practice Assessor or working towards it
