Academic achievement is balanced by an emphasis on the spiritual, pastoral and co-curricular aspects of education.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified and experienced School Staff Instructor (SSI) to join our Combined Cadet Force (CCF). Founded in 1916, the College CCF continues to be a core activity at the centre of a full co-curricular programme. The CCF is made up of an Army and RAF section and is a popular activity amongst students.
Reporting to the Contingent Commander, the SSI provides administrative, logistic and training support to the contingent and plays a key role working with the OCs to ensure we provide an enjoyable and challenging Cadet experience. It is expected that candidates will have a Regular, Reserve or Cadet service background. Strong administrative and IT skills are essential together with a willingness to undertake all necessary MOD training for the role.
The SSI role is part time (3 days a week) and term time only. There is a requirement to attend training weekends and camps and support College events. The pro-rata salary is GBP21,000 per annum.
