Main Duties of the Job
About the Role
As Principal Business Analyst, you will lead the development of key activity metrics, reporting solutions, and dashboards, focusing on urgent care and medicine, as well as the National 6 Goals for Urgent and Emergency Care Programme. You will manage data analysis processes, deliver high-quality intelligence, and ensure that stakeholders have access to clear, actionable insights to optimize patient care. You will be an integral part of the Information Services analytics and business intelligence service with a remit to develop the analytics and data science service, ensuring that the Health Board maximizes the opportunities afforded by its investment in digital technology.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
* Develop and manage analytics for urgent care, medicine, and related projects utilizing all of the capability of the available internal analytical tools as well as taking forward the development of the Google Cloud Platform within the National Data Resource (NDR) programme.
* Create innovative dashboards and reports to monitor and enhance service delivery, ensuring alignment with local and national data and information standards.
* Provide specialist advice and communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
* Lead a program of work, coaching junior analysts, and ensuring quality outputs.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders both internal and external to the Health Board to support strategic decisions through actionable insights.
