RYA Scotland seeks an energetic and confident individual to develop and oversee the delivery of pathway training opportunities for young sailors in Scotland.
What you and the role might look like
You are to have a natural connection with young people and have the skills to making sailing fun, engaging and rewarding.
You have the ability to think differently about how we might inspire young sailors and have the confidence to share and explore those ideas with other team members.
You will have an understanding of the variety of sailing clubs in Scotland, the volunteer ethos that is critical to the sport and be able to work effectively with the coaching team through clear and effective communication and building mutual trust.
A planner, who understands the importance of forward thinking, an ability to innovate, think on your feet and problem solve. You will show an attention to detail and oversee risk assessments when planning events.

Remuneration and benefits
Hybrid working
Salary of £26-28,500 dependant on experience, for 35 hours per week
Benefits package includes 10% pension contribution and life insurance, free RYA Membership and associated preferential staff discounts.
26 days annual leave plus public holidays.
