Assistant Restaurant Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at a high-calibre, fine dining restaurant in Dumfries, Scotland.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional front of house food and beverage operations, creating a hospitable and enjoyable guest experience, and maintaining the highest standards of service and quality.
This is a key role in our team, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service, has excellent communication and leadership skills, and is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, with experience in managing front of house teams and delivering exceptional customer service. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and service.
Main Responsibilities:
* Extend a warm welcome to all guests and ensure a seamless dining experience
* Organise and control service from opening to closing, ensuring that all food and beverage is delivered to guests in a timely fashion
* Take orders from customers and ensure that these are delivered to the correct department
* Develop and implement cleaning rosters to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation
* Ensure that all staff are competent in making up customers' bills accurately and taking payments
* Manage and supervise all staff across the front of house hospitality environment
* Work with the Executive Chef and Senior Sous Chef to ensure that all food menus comply with allergy regulations
* Develop and deliver a hospitality environment and standard of presentation, service and hospitality that meets the needs of a high-quality culinary experience
Requirements:

Working Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, including weekends and national holidays. The exact hours of work will vary depending on business needs.
