What does a DVLA Pound/Transport Manager do? You will be responsible for the vehicle pound and payment centre. You will make sure that the pound is secure, and that the vehicles in our care are looked after. Main duties include: Manage the Pound team and oversee their work to ensure it is of the highest quality Ensure that the team operates efficiently, adheres to procedures, best practice and policy Hold regular team meetings and create an environment of good communication with effective two-way feedback of information and ideas Ensures that the Pound is always secure, and that CCTV Monitoring is fully functional Apply due diligence and ensure accurate record keeping of all vehicles brought to the Pound Ensures the highest standards of customer service is delivered Ensures that drivers are working within the Working Time Directive Downloading and recording of tachograph information Arranges and manages the servicing and maintenance schedules for the trucks to ensure they are DVSA Compliant. Attend client meetings to discuss any Pound related issues Delivery of all contractual requirements to the satisfaction of NSL and the client What do you need to be a DVLA Pound/Transport Manager? CPC Transport Manager qualification Excellent Management and Leadership skills of a large team Previous experience in a similar role Knowledge of Road Traffic Regulation Act 2004 preferable First Class Communication Skills Self Motivated Customer Focused Ability to work on own initiative Computer Literate What’s in it for you?
