The Opportunity
The People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) will build relationships with leaders across the business to guide, coach, partner and support the execution of strategic people initiatives across the employee life cycle. In addition to day-to-day support, this role will have both value-add operational and strategic projects to own from Day 1!
This is a 12-month fixed-term role, and NPS has a range of office locations across Melbourne, with flexibility in where it is based. There are also hybrid options available to work from home!
Responsibilities
1. Partnering with leaders to optimise people engagement and performance
2. P&C Compliance - supporting the business to ensure compliance with relevant modern awards, NES, and other regulatory requirements
3. End to end ER / IR case management
4. Talent bench strength - partnering with Managers to identify key talent and opportunities, succession planning, and ensure the business is future-fit
5. Talent acquisition including end-to-end recruitment processes and activating NPS EVP / Employee brand to ensure we are positioned as an employer of choice
6. Organisational development and Non-technical training (leadership development, customer service)
7. Implementation of cyclical performance reviews (probation, performance review, midyear review)
8. Support and execute PC Projects
Skills & Experience
Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in a similar role as a P&C Business Partner or a Senior Advisor. You will be sought for advice on a range of matters, so a sound understanding of P&C Compliance, relevant legislation, and contemporary people practices is a must.
We are a relationships-based business, and to be successful you will be an excellent communicator who is comfortable partnering with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You will also love to take accountability and own projects end to end - in this role, you will have the opportunity to take your ideas and put them into practice from inception to execution!
