We have a great opportunity for a part time Data Administrator to work in our HSQE Department.
You will be responsible for:
* Administer the tracking of working hours for the Health & Safety on call employees and identify working hours triggers/exceedances to the Senior Health and Safety Managers.
* Administration of the AIM awards.
* Administration of the EcoOnline system and data integrity checks on a regular basis to ensure that integrity of key reports, statistics and other dashboard information is maintained to avoid inaccuracies.
* Identify discrepancies with any EcoOnline data or key internal/external reporting areas to the HSQES Improvement Manager.
* Input data to the Industry’s SMIS/Safe Insights system, running reports as required.
* Maintain HSQES data for use by the Work Winning team.
* Maintain the Head Office AIM HSQES noticeboards.
* Maintenance of the Network Rail data within EcoOnline and other NR related systems to support the Data & Reporting Analyst with the issuing of the reports to the business, on a periodic basis.
* Monitor and action requests via the EcoOnline email inbox. Raising any issues to the HSQES Improvement Manager.
* Produce excel report to show a summary of accidents with the month to personal liability insurers.
* Provide administrative support to VolkerRail’s strategic goal areas/initiatives where required by the HSQES Improvement Manager and the HSQES senior management team.
* Provision of general support for the use of EcoOnline including user accounts, technical support queries, training/guidance on functionality and close call reporting.
* Submission of Network Rail Close Calls, via the bulk upload on a weekly basis.
* Support the HSQES reporting to assist the Data & Reporting Analyst.
* Support with any other requirements as directed by the HSQES Improvement Manager within the scope of your role or around peak times / annual leave.
* Support with any other strategic objectives as directed by the Head of Performance and Strategy or HSQES Improvement Manager.
About you
* GCSE Maths and English Grade C or above
* Data Essentials Level 3
* Demonstrable intermediate to advanced experience in the use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience in presenting results of analysis in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint or Power BI.
* Extensive experience in similar roles, with a proven ability to analyse complex data sets and apply advanced mathematical skills to deliver actionable insights and solutions.
* Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently and accurately under tight deadlines, while consistently maintaining high-quality output. Proactive and self-motivated, thriving in roles requiring independence and minimal supervision. Strong organisational skills paired with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring seamless task execution and effective prioritisation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability and self-confidence to build strong working relationships internally at all levels.
* Experience in the Rail, or Construction Industry.
