Our client is a supplier of Steel Beams and Steel Building Solutions. They provide a bespoke design and manufacturing process to a mixture of contractors and house builders across the London region.
Due to their growing team, they are looking to bring in a CAD Designer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with AutoCAD and Designworks skills to start their career journey within CAD Design. Alternatively, if you already have experience and are looking for a fresh challenge, our client is interested in speaking with you.
The role is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings 8am-12pm.
Key Responsibilities of the Steel CAD Designer
* Developing detailed CAD designs and models for steel structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.
* Collaborating with the engineering and architectural teams to interpret design briefs and convert them into technical drawings.
* Reviewing and adjusting design plans based on feedback and project requirements.
* Maintaining and managing a comprehensive library of design documents and templates.
* Ensuring all designs adhere to health and safety regulations and industry standards.
* Assisting in project planning and scheduling by providing design inputs and updates.
* Fabrication detail for production.
* Procurement of material.
* Pricing of design projects.
* Plasma cutting setting.
Our client is offering the following:
* Basic salary of between c 25k-c 30k for an inexperienced CAD Designer.
* Basic salary of up to c 35k for someone with relevant industry experience.
