Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting both Purchasing and Quality teams in all aspects of administration.
Duties
1. Supporting the Senior Buyer to ensure all purchase orders and associated documents are recorded on our CRM systems.
2. Updating import data sheets.
3. Liaising with suppliers - Expediting/ de-expediting orders.
4. Request and distribute samples from suppliers to customers.
5. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data in procurement systems such as Sage/ Salesforce.
6. Support the quality team in providing information as requested by customers.
7. Requesting information from our Suppliers/Manufacturers and keeping documentation up to date.
8. Maintaining and updating information on online customer portals as needed.
9. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding purchasing & Quality activities.
Skills
1. Experienced in Administration.
2. Able to work well on their own and as part of a wider team.
3. Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
4. Confident talking with & challenging suppliers.
5. Good standard of general I.T. & Office skills.
6. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with internal teams and external partners.
